Forvik trading place is one of Northern-Norway’s oldest trading places, from 1792. It is located at the ferry port at Forvik, between Brønnøysund and Sandnessjøen.

Accomodation in the "Grålåna"

The trading place Forvik has been owned by the Arntzen family for 4 generations. The oldest building on the farm is Grålåna from 1750, and today accommodation is offered in authentically furnished rooms here. There is a shared bathroom and WC, and the kitchen and living room can of course be used. Welcome to an unforgettable accommodation in a historic setting! In addition to accommodation in Grålåna, there is a parking space for tents, motorhomes and caravans, with access to sanitary facilities.

Coffee break

The trading place Forvik is beautifully located by the Forvik ferry quay. In the old thrift store you can come and visit the coffee distillery. Here you can also buy tea, chocolate, candy and last but not least everything you need to brew the perfect cup of coffee at home. If you do not have the opportunity to come to Forvik, all coffee can be ordered in the online store.

Naustloftet Cafè and Restaurant
At Naustloftet Café and Restaurant, good food is served with a local touch and, as far as possible, local ingredients. The specialty is boknafish and fish soup. Boknafish is a real traditional food, and is considered a delicacy in northern Norway. Boknafish is a variant of stockfish, and is fish that has been dried by sun and wind.

The boathouse (Naustloftet) is open every day during the summer season, and otherwise during the year on request.
