The coastal museum in Nord-Trøndelag has a local and regional responsibility for the coastal culture. The museum is located in the coastal town Rørvik, at the preserved fishing village Sør-Gjæslingan and at Vågsenget. 

Exhibition in Norveg
Get to know Norwegian coastal culture and coastal industry through exhibitions in Norveg and in Bryggerekka in Rørvik. In our permanent exhibition "From the Stone Age to a high-tech society", you get to know the coastal and fishing nation of Norway through 10,000 years.

Museum café and shop
In our cafe you can relax with a cup of coffee, enjoy the tranquility and the view of the sea. In the beautiful museum shop you will find handicrafts, jewelery and gift items.
