Jettestuen is a country store and online store that sells rustic and nostalgic interior items and interior paint, and is run by Nina and Jarle on Strandval farm. Nina is a trained interior consultant and is fond of old things with a story. When Jettestuen.no opened in October 2019, it was with a goal of taking care of the old buildings on the farm. Here is a charming country store from 1907 and a beautiful old cowshed that has been empty for 40 years.

Strandval farm is located in the innermost part of a fjord with a view of the sea, the fields and forest. In the old cowshed there is today a cozy interior and gift shop, Jettestuen, where you will find rural and nostalgic interior items, such as kerosene lamps, candlesticks, linen tablecloths, baskets, vintage furniture etc. In the beautiful courtyard you can sit down, buy a coffee and look inside the old country store from 1907. The country store Ole Strandvahl's Landhandel was in operation between 1910 and 1953, and is almost intact with original shelves and counter. Here you get a real sense of travelling back in time.
