Day 4: Thursday (30 km)

Excursion to Leka

We begin the day with a boat trip from Rørvik to Leka, where we will cycle around this beautiful and unique island. Leka has been designated Norway’s Geological National Monument. We will cycle around the entire island, making various stops to explore some of its many hiking trails. On the west side of Leka, the mountains are yellow and red, resembling an American cowboy landscape.

The Earth’s mantle is exposed on the surface here, so cycling on the west side of Leka is like riding through the Earth's inner layers.

We’ll return by boat to Rørvik in the late afternoon. In the evening, we’ll visit the cozy Kork and Wine Bar, located near the hotel. It’s the final night of the tour, and we will enjoy a group dinner at the wine bar.
