Sør-Gjæslingan is a group of small islands facing the stretch of the Folla Sea, 15 nautical miles (approx. 27 km) southwest of the town Rørvik. In its time, this was one of the largest and most significant fishing villages south of Lofoten. Several thousand fishermen were gathered here during the season.
Here you can live in historic fisherman's cabins far out on the Folla Sea. You may stay for several days or take day trips by boat. Boat routes at: www.atb.no
