Risværet is located in Nærøysund Municipality, Trøndelag, Norway.

The island group of Risværet is situated between Rørvik and Leka and has a rich history as an old trading post.

The area has a deep historical background dating back to the 1600s when it was a thriving community with a store, bakery, blacksmith, school, and even an alcohol outlet. At its peak, 40–50 people lived on the islands, and Risværet was an important stop for Hurtigruten and other boats.

In recent years, efforts have been made to restore and preserve the historical buildings, bringing back some of their former glory.
