Privacy and cookies

What personal data we collect and why we collect it:

We use cookies to gather statistics so that we can analyze how the website is used, in order to adapt the content and improve the user experience. We also use cookies to be able to target advertisements and marketing campaigns.

We use the analysis tool Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies that register the user's IP address, which provides information about the individual user's online movements. However, this does not give us any information about the individual visitor's navigation on our site.

An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a specific piece of hardware and thus to an individual. We use Google Analytics' tracking code which anonymises the IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, the stored IP address cannot identify the individual user.

We have installed the Facebook pixel on our website. This allows Facebook to place cookies in your browser and makes it possible to target ads on Facebook.

Contact forms and registration forms

We use a form through MailChimp for the collection of personal data when registering for trips run by Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS. We also use WPForms to put together tailor-made tours upon request. Here we collect names, telephone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses, as well as submit your own comments. Submitted information is used to perform services for the relevant customers. This information is not shared with others. The exception is hotels or other suppliers who need information about the customers (name lists, allergies etc.)
